Sorry I dont know why people hate my solution so much but I would not use the obj file for this alone. I would also probably since I know most iclone characters come with a lower jaw bone (because i have exported the rigs) try to to use that in order to create the facial morphs and add new shape keys to the file and then re-import the entire thing. which would be to get an export license and take all the information and make a new character from it for use inside iclone I simply see that problem being very difficult to solve just with the obj file. yes i know you use obj file I am simply looking at the character and thinking how i would solve it. ![]() In general you change only the vertieces (same topology but shaped in a new geomety), no bones are needed That works with all meshes, no matter it is an non CC Character or not, because a mesh is a mesh is a mesh. My issue is with Non CC character from marketplace that doesn't have facial animation like WERETOAD from Protofactor. I will dig a little bit in blender because I use it for the clothes transfer weight.īy mtakerkart - 5 Years Yes I know the pipeline Duchesse and all works with CC character even with 3Dcoat 4.7. I have no choice to use the expression editor in 3dxchange to set all viseme and specific expression. But my goal is for facial animation from characters bought in the market place that doesn't have. I bought 3dcoat, substance painter and really don't want to pay and re-learn for another software to do same task. Sculptris can't separate the polygon so I can't open the mouth in this exemple. I use 3dcoat because the move polygone tool is far better than sculptris. now hopefully i didnt repeat myself too many times. ![]() I dont like the retopo tools either* (edit I have to type slower. shrug *goes back to my work I use blender for it I found 3dcoat difficult for much else other then painting anyhow. when i looked at the files so maybe they changed it since my last attempts. but again I found it changed vertex order. Anyhow I use other tools for it now so i will stay out of it. There is a beta maybe someone made the request. I dunno then seems to be one to me anyhow. I am downloading a beta to see if they fixed the order issue. ![]()
